Why Summer Programs at FASPS?

We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to summer programs for your camper(s), and SPF is dedicated to offering an exciting French experience adapted to each age group’s unique needs and interests.

The FASPS summer community is as diverse as our school, welcoming current and incoming families and families from the broader Puget Sound area. Campers get to make new friends, develop and strengthen their connections to the French-speaking world, and — of course — have fun!

All Summer Programs at FASPS Offer:

  • Small-group sizes to maximize social interactions, individualized attention from camp staff, and facilitation of peer-to-peer relationships.
  • Scheduling flexibility, with before- and after-care available for all FASPS-led programs.
  • An in-person warm-up night in June prior to the start of camp to visit campus and meet camp staff.

Program Dates:

  • Session 1 (All Programs): June 26 – July 7 (No Camp on Tuesday, July 4)
  • Session 2 (All Programs): July 10–21
  • Session 3 (Camp des Lucioles & Studio2You Specialty Camps): July 24 – August 4
  • Session 4 (Camp des Lucioles Only): August 7–18

All programs run from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with before-care available starting at 8:00am and after-care available until 6:00pm. (Note: Before- and after-care will not be available for Studio2You specialty camps.)

Camp des Lucioles (Preschool & Kindergarten)

Welcoming our youngest campers, Camp des Lucioles (“Fireflies Camp”) is a gentle introduction to the French language with a focus on fun, social and emotional learning, and school readiness. Activities are led in both English and French to build language skills in both languages through play and exciting weekly themes. Campers will enjoy dance parties, cooking projects, art projects, obstacle courses, and so much more!

Note: Registration for Camp des Lucioles is by 2-week session only.

Camp d’été (Rising Grades 1–5)

Camp d’été is better than ever this summer with an extra week! From absolute beginners to native speakers, campers in this 4-week French immersion program will focus on fun hands-on experiences that facilitate language skills at each camper’s pace — plus plenty of outdoor time!

Note: Register by 2-week session for Camp d’été to get the full experience!

Classe Aventure (Rising Grades 6–9)

Leave campus behind with Classe Aventure! No matter your French level, develop your French skills and your curiosity as you explore the beautiful Puget Sound area on daily field trips, persevere through group challenges, and flex your creativity with cool projects.

Note: Registration by 2-week session is encouraged, but weekly registration is available for Classe Aventure.

Specialty Camps With Studio2You (Rising Grades 1–5)

Keep summer camp going with two more weeks of fun with Studio2You! Join Ms. D for one week of Little Chefs followed by one week of Fired Arts.
