FAVOR Upstate is expanding its reach and spreading hope across South Carolina. In recovery, we often say the only constant is change, and while our core "constants"— peer support, family meetings, and community outreach—remain stronger than ever, we have some exciting "changes" to share.

Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we’ve recently added five new meetings outside our centers and are connecting with more families every day. Looking ahead, we’re launching new online Family Recovery and Grief Support meetings to make connection even more accessible.

Updates & Events:

• The FAVOR Library: We’ve started stocking the "Blue Room" at the Greenville Center with every title from Beth Holladay-Edwards’ "Book of the Month" reviews. Please feel free to stop by and borrow a copy!
• FAVOR Fun Day: Mark your calendars for June 6th (12–4 PM) at Lake Robinson (2544 Mays Bridge Rd, Greer). Come show the community that we can and do have fun in recovery!

Join us at Lake Robinson in Greer, SC on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12:00–4:00 PM for an afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, and the joy of coming together. Whether you’re in recovery, supporting someone you love, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend the day with good people, this event is for you.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring a chair, bring a smile, and come enjoy a day by the lake with food, laughter, games, and community.
