Message From Your FAWL Leadership Team
Hello, FAWL! My name is Sarah Young Hodges, and I am continuing my tenure as Young Lawyers Chair this year. I have been a member of FAWL since my first year in practice in 2012, and I currently am Chief Appellate Counsel at the Department of Health. I previously served on the board of Tallahassee Women Lawyers, and as a recent transplant to Broward County, I am looking forward to contributing to Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association.

As Young Lawyer Chair, I am honored to serve as the FAWL representative on the Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. In my role, I serve on a number of committees, including the government lawyer committee, the awards committee, and the moot court committee. My intention is to ensure that FAWL’s voice is always heard, and to make sure FAWL chapters know about the many benefits the YLD has to share. I encourage each FAWL chapter to become a YLD affiliate. It is extremely easy to do so and reaps endless rewards! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions about the process for becoming an affiliate or any other young lawyer matters at . On behalf of all of the FAWL Leadership Team, thank you all for all you do!
Congratulations to FAWL & HAWL Member Judge Jessica Costello!
