Membership Renewal Reminder:
Please renew if you have not already done so. We had several members drop off our membership list at the end of August due to non-renewal. Also, invite someone you know to become a new member.
There are many benefits to being a member of Sarasota FAWL:
By joining FAWL, you become part of a dynamic and growing group of lawyers and law students committed to advancing gender equality in the legal profession. In addition, you and our chapter receive valuable support and benefits from state FAWL, as well as the opportunity to “pay it forward” to the young law students and lawyers who follow in your footsteps. By organizing and working together in FAWL, women lawyers have enhanced their visibility within the legal profession and in their communities and increased their communication with one another. Through the statewide meetings of FAWL and our meetings, members are provided with opportunities to share information. The meetings also present opportunities for women lawyers throughout the state to meet and form networks as they forge better working relationships. Membership is available to any attorney, male or female, in good standing with The Florida Bar or any other state’s bar, as well as law students and affiliate members.
Your membership dues cover membership in both state FAWL and this chapter. We have networking as well as CLE events and member-only events.
