We will observe the Lord's Supper. As always, on Lord's Supper Sundays we take a Special Offering after the Service for our Benevolence Fund that directly helps individuals in our community.

Everyone is invited to join us for our FREE Monthly Church-Wide Lunch after Worship! This m onth we will be enjoying hamburgers and hot dogs! Donations gladly accepted.

Also, don’t forget that on the days we gather for lunch we also have a Food Drive for our FBC Food Pantry ! We ask that everyone bring an item from their pantry this Sunday for our FBC Food Pantry to help those in our community. Let's feed others as we feed ourselves.

Joining the Effort
Years ago I served on staff of a church whose slogan was “The Place of New Beginnings”. It was on all the printed material, and as I recall, there was even an personalized anthem commissioned to sing the theme. (Now that I wrote that, I know there was. The refrain has begun circling in my brain and who knows when it might stop.) The idea was that it could be New Year’s everyday for people who needed a fresh start. And the church was a safe place of grace where all sorts of souls could move beyond and move ahead. That idea has guided my ministry for many years. Still does. I am convinced that the currency of the church is changed lives. And most significant changes will point to a day when a marker was put down, a tipping point reached, a conversion experienced. DivorceCare - NEW Day!
DivorceCare is moving to MONDAY evenings THIS Monday, January 7th, from 7 to 8:30 PM in Heritage Hall.  They will also be starting their lessons from the beginning for the new year, so this is the perfect time to start attending! DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
Choir Rehearsals
Our Sanctuary Choir will resume rehearsals THIS Wednesday, January 9th, at 6 PM in the Choir Suite. This is the PERFECT opportunity for YOU to join them as they begin preparing music through Palm Sunday and Easter!
CBF Seeking Transformation Event
Everyone is invited to a special night of conversations, dinner, and worship during CBF’s Seeking Transformation Event on Sunday, January 27th from 5 to 7:30 PM at Bayshore Baptist Church in Tampa. During this event, CBF will honor our very own Bud Strawn, and you will hear stories of how lives, neighborhoods, villages and nations are being transformed by CBF missions.
