FBC Ministry Connection Fair

We are offering our Ministry/Connection Fair to celebrate and show how much we value the various ministries and servants in our church. Here are a few additional reasons why we are doing this event.

  • To get people excited about serving
  • To highlight the various ministries in the church and ways people can serve within the ministries
  • To make connections between prospects and ministry leaders
  • To enhance the recruitment process for filling ministry needs

Don’t miss this Sunday morning as we gather for worship then transition to the Fair immediately after worship. Lunch is provided at no cost in the youth room. I can’t wait to see you!!

Becca's Closet is a non-profit organization that provides dresses, shoes, purses, jewelry, girls in need etc. to of a formal gown for any special occasion at no cost to the individual. First Baptist Church has been affiliated with Becca's Closet for a number of years. We are in need of several volunteers to help us operate this service. Becca's Closet is housed in the lower level of what we call the parsonage. This is the small house located next to the playground. We have provided hundreds of dresses over the last five to six years here at FBC and thousands across the country. Historically we have had young ladies select a time to come by on Saturdays between 9 and 12 during February through mid April. On occasion we will meet individuals at other times. Often we have had a mother daughter team work together but this is not a requirement. Teen girls have an opportunity to earn scholarships up to $5,000 by giving of their time to volunteer at Becca's closet. This is a fun opportunity and very rewarding helping young ladies select dresses that make them feel as beautiful as they look. Please consider supporting this ministry, we are unable to open and provide dresses until we get more support.  Please contact Wendy Wallace (615-973-2835), Brandi Maige (615-878-9297) or Pam Stover (240-904-4068) if you feel led to serve.

FBC Kids' Ministry has an urgent need for two teachers for the 3&4 year old Sunday school class each Sunday morning.

Please reach out to Magen Johnson with any questions.

More info is on the Awana google site. FBC Awana webpage.
