Welcome Matt and Kimberly Putnam & Family to

First Baptist Fairview

We are excited to welcome Matt Putnam as the new part-time Youth Minister here at First Baptist Church Fairview. The congregation overwhelmingly approved Matt's calling to join the staff at FBC.

Matt and his wife Kimberly and their three children, Daphne, Penelope, and Robin are long time residents of Fairview. Matt and Kimberly are WCS teachers here in Fairview.

Matt's heart is to foster positive relationships with the youth, mentor students, and encourage them to go and share the good news of Jesus. His enthusiasm, energy and passion for Youth Ministry is exciting and we are thrilled to welcome them to the FBC church family.

Deacon Ballots

Deacon Ballots have been mailed. Please return your completed ballots by July 27th in the sealed blue envelopes to the Ballot Box across from the Welcome Center.

FBC Quarterly Business Meeting

The next FBC Quarterly Business Meeting is Sunday night, June 20th in the sanctuary at 6:00 p.m.

Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study

All ladies are invited to join the WitWoW class (Women in the Word on Wednesday) for a study of Esther. The 7 video-session study by Kelly Minter on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in classroom 1. No book is necessary, but you may purchase a personal study book with "homework" and fun recipes from online platforms (Lifeway, Christian Book or Amazon). We will wrap up the class with a fellowship meal to share Kelly's recipes on July 30th. Contact Jenny Coble (615-308-3926) with any questions. There is no childcare available.

New Adult Bible Study with Pastor Mid-Week

Pastor Goodgine will teach on Life on Mission: Joining the Everyday Mission of God on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. This Bible Study meets in the sanctuary.

Sizes available are Small - XLarge ($10) and 2XL & 3XL ($15). We will take delivery of the shirts in early August.

UPWARD Football and Cheerleading

Registration is now open! The cost is $100.00 per participant. The deadline to sign up is August 24, 2025. Evaluations will be held on Saturday, July 26th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Every child must participate in an evaluation.

Rooted and Redeemed

Every Friday PM from 6-8PM, there is a Youth Community Bible Study for high school students in the Youth Room. This study is student led by Grady Jean and Katie Coble. Please reach out to Annessa Jean in the church office with any questions.

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the Fairview Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry, will assemble at 8:45 AM in the Church parking lot and then leave to be a part of the Grinders Switch Ensembles live audience at the Grinders Switch Center, 405 West Public Square in downtown Centerville. For those that cannot participate, The LIVE show can be heard on WNKX KiX 96 FM or streaming at www.GrindersSwitchHour.com

After the event, the Seniors will fellowship at a “Dutch Treat” luncheon located at the Fish Camp Restaurant 406 Highway 100, Centerville, TN.

If you would like to use a room in the church for a Bible study, meeting or for any reason outside of the regular weekly activities, please submit a Facility Use Request Form to the church office.
