November 3, 2026

We look forward to Next Gen Sunday, when our students will lead our worship services! God is raising up a generation of young people who love Him and are eager to serve as salt and light for the sake of the Gospel. Please pray for all our students as they prepare to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus this Sunday in both services!

Special thanks to all our volunteers who helped make another successful Trunk or Treat possible! We had approximately 2,500 people attend this year's event. So many volunteers gave their time and energy to make it happen, and we are incredibly grateful for their faithful service. Thank you!

Harvest Offering Sunday – November 22

Please begin praying about your Harvest Offering as we thank God for His many blessings over the past year and give generously for His glory. The offering will go toward our Faith Budget, which includes funding for an Associate Pastor position, as well as supporting other ministries, including our preschool. Thank you for prayerfully considering how God would have you participate in this special offering.

Blessings,

Pastor Dewayne

The Prayer Team is inviting members to come down to the altar area before the service they attend and pause briefly to pray for the pastor as he preaches, that people will be saved and the church be protected. You can do it individually or in groups. You can speak or be silent. Cards are offered in each Sunday School class for members to have as reminders. Please share them with your class and others in the church.

Updated Church Office Hours:

Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Friday -Saturday Closed

To better serve our congregation while ensuring the safety of our staff, we have adjusted office hours to Monday-Thursday, with extended hours to accommodate the majority of our weekly schedule, and will be closed on Fridays due to consistently low call volume and security concerns from only one person being present. This adjustment allows us to use our resources responsibly while maintaining office availability when it is most needed.

We’re excited to share that our church is currently seeking an Associate Pastor to join our ministry team! If you or someone you know may be interested in this opportunity, please click the link above for additional details about the position. The job opening and job description are posted on the church website as well.  Applications should be sent to search@fbcfairview.org.

Please be in prayer for the committee and potential candidates. We look forward to seeing how God leads in this exciting opportunity for our church!

It's that time of year again...Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box pick-up! Pick-Up your preferred box type, plastic in Sanctuary and cardboard in the welcome area and Entryway. Fill the box with 50% toys, 25% hygiene items and 25% school supplies. Add a note or family picture if you want to personalize it. Pray over the box for the child that will receive it. That they would have the eyes to see Jesus, the ears to hear his truth and a heart to accept him as Lord and savior. These shoe boxes help Church partners in the country reach areas they could not go to if it wasn't for these boxes. Each child that receives one of these boxes will hear the truth about Jesus in their own language and receive biblical materials in their language.

So fill your box/boxes with love and Return it on November 15th.

We encourage you to come if you have committed to becoming a member, or even if you just want to know more about our church and opportunities available. Classes will be held Nov 1st, 8th, and 15th and will be led by Jeff and Debbie Earnest, Pastor DeWayne, and John and Mary Kaye Woods.

Our Children's Choir will be performing during both services on Sunday, December 13th (Kindergarten to Fifth Grade) If your child would like to participate, practices will be held every Sunday at 4:00p.m.

🦃 Thanksgiving Bag Collection

Our Sunday School classes are currently collecting items for our Thanksgiving Bags, which will help provide Thanksgiving meals for local families in need. Please check with your Sunday School teacher to find out which item has been assigned to your class. All items are due by November 11th in preparation for our packing night.

Thank you to everyone participating in this wonderful ministry and helping us share God’s love with families in our community this Thanksgiving!

During our Worship Service on November 22, we will also receive our Annual Harvest Offering, a special offering separate from our regular budget offering. This will allow us to fund our future Associate Pastor. We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you give and to give as He lays it on your heart. We are grateful for the opportunity to worship through giving and to celebrate God’s faithfulness and provision!

Weekly Christian Men's Prayer Breakfast

The FBC Weekly Men’s Prayer Breakfast meets on Thursday mornings at 6:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. If you are a man, come - if you know a man, send him! Come and enjoy this Men & Boys Fellowship Breakfast and Bible study.

The Bible is full of practical instruction that can be helpful as men try to navigate the stresses and complexities of this modern world. Our Christian Men’s Breakfast is a weekly meeting where men meet to fellowship, enjoy a light meal and listen to a short teaching based on Scripture. The purpose is to learn how Biblical principles can be applied to daily living.

This is a time for men and boys to share Christian values through life experiences. We have a great cook - Mr. Bill Mayo, and a core of mature Christian men who are dedicated to Christ and to helping others! Each attendee can leave the meeting when they need to leave and with a new insight into a particular Biblical principle with ways to apply that knowledge to their daily lives. Please Come – and bring a friend.
