As we continue another exciting outdoor season, we’re happy to keep you connected through The Kickoff — your go-to source for everything happening in FC Regina Adult Soccer.

Delivered every second Tuesday, each edition will include guest player requests, league reminders, important updates, upcoming events, and key information to help keep you and your team organized throughout the season.

Spring League Playoffs Are Here!

Good luck to all the teams beginning playoffs this week! Playoff schedules have now been updated to reflect the final seedings—please check your team’s schedule for the latest game details.

Playoff Player Eligibility

• Kick-Start Pass holders must have at least one game remaining on their pass at the start of playoffs to be eligible to participate with their team.
• Guest players are not eligible to participate in playoff or final games. This includes youth guest players.
• Only eligible players, who are not suspended, and listed on the team’s official roster may participate.

Playoff Tie-Breaking Procedure

Any playoff game tied at the end of regulation will be decided by kicks from the penalty mark:

• Any eligible player listed on the game roster may participate, including players on the bench at the end of the game. Players who have been red-carded, ejected or are otherwise ineligible may not participate.
• Both teams must use the same number of kickers, determined by the team with fewer eligible players. Any additional players on the opposing team must be excluded.
• For coed games, teams must also use equal numbers of eligible men and women, based on whichever team has fewer players of each gender.
• No player may take a second kick until every eligible and selected player has taken one.
• In coed games, kickers must alternate between women and men throughout the entire shootout.

FC Regina Adult Summer Community League

Keep playing throughout August and September in a relaxed, social, and welcoming environment!

Players register individually for seven organized sessions. There are no permanent teams, standings, statistics, championships, or playoffs. Each week, players will be placed on balanced teams based on attendance.

Women’s Community Soccer — $105

Wednesdays

Men’s Community Soccer — $105

Thursdays

Players who registered for the Adult Spring Season will receive a discount by using code: ReturnSpring

Flexible Game Format

The playing format will adapt to the number of players attending each week. Depending on attendance, games may include:

• 11v11 on a full field
• 9v9 on a half field
• 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6 on a quarter field

This flexible format allows us to maximize playing time and create balanced, enjoyable games for everyone.

Community League Philosophy

This program is for players who want to:

• Participate in balanced games

June Chill League Challenge Winners

Congratulations to Royals (Men’s Division 5), one of our June Chill League Challenge winners!

The Royals stood out by demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, respect for opponents and officials, and outstanding discipline throughout May.

AffinityPlex and FC Regina Office Closure

The AffinityPlex will be closed from July 23 through August 4 for the Queen City Ex.

The FC Regina offices will also be closed to the public from July 28 through August 4. FC Regina staff will continue working remotely and will remain available by email during this period.

Regular office access will resume on August 5.

FC Regina Summer Administration Office Hours

FC Regina would like to inform our members, families, coaches, and community partners of our summer office hours schedule.

Beginning June 26, 2026, and continuing through the end of August, the FC Regina office at the Affinity Plex will operate under adjusted summer hours.
