It is time to start your Spring cleaning a bit early this year. We are planning a church yard sale for Saturday, March 9th. All proceeds will go to support the New Communion Easter events. If you have items to donate, please gather them and hold until the week of March 4th, and we will move them right into Taylor Hall for set up of the sale. You can bring them to the church during that week, or if you need things picked up you can contact the church office, or Paul Gillespie or Lindsey Haddock to schedule. As for articles of clothing, we will accept shoes and children's clothing, but please no other adult clothing.

Pick up your 2019 offering envelopes and year-end giving statements.  They are located on the table beside the library. If you would like offering envelopes and don't see any with your name on them please send a request to Alanna at

Attendance for Worship Service

You will find a black book for members and visitors alike to sign.  Please complete your information and pass it along to the person next to you.  If you are the last person to sign the book on the row, pass it back to the beginning.  The first person who signed will remove the sheet and place it in the offering plate .

Youth Group update!

Hello all!
This past month, we learned how to Jump-start our Januaries spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. We had a great time at Skate Haven, and only one bone was broken!
This month, we will celebrate Friendship February. From Moses and Aaron, to Ruth and Naomi, to David and Jonathan, we will explore the examples of healthy, self-sacrificing friendships that scripture provides.
The Youth Group will be hosting a multi-church lock-in February 22nd (8pm)-February 23rd (9am), with Pfafftown Baptist, Green Street United Methodist, and Parkway United Church.
The youth group also needs volunteers to help out with dinner on Wednesday nights. If you are able to help please email Kaitlin at

Crisis Control Ministry

Crisis Control Ministry is asking for CANNED BEEF STEW for the month of February. We are having a few warm days but there will be plenty of cold ones to come before Spring arrives. I think all of us know how comforting a bowl of stew is on a cold, Winter day. When you are at your grocery, purchase a few cans and put them into the white box in the Education Wing hallway. I can assure you many people will say a silent "thank you".

Samaritan Ministries

The shelter has a year-round list of needs that are always appreciated. They especially have shortages of men's deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and socks.  Food items are canned meats and #10 size canned fruits, vegetables and applesauce. Please place your items next to the white bin in the foyer outside the office or in the church office.
