Worship Dialogue Update
The Youth Outlet members have reached their goal of 25 marbles through completing their Worship Dialogues and a handful of other participatory actions in the church. We will be starting our count over as the new year begins. If you would like to contribute to the ante, please let Katrina know!
Youth Coordinator on the Move! As I help to raise funds with the Youth Outlet for their mission work in the spring and summer, I am also in the midst of raising funds for an personal educational trip next summer. As many of you may know, I am a graduate student in Art Therapy Counseling at SIUe. I have the opportunity next summer to travel to Kenya and Tanzania with Global Alliance for Africa to learn more about international art therapy, which will help to inform my thesis work. If you would like to help me with this endeavor, please visit my sponsorship page at http://www.gofundme.com/katrinainafrica
Thank you for you help!
A big thanks to everyone who supported the Youth Outlet Super Bowl sub sale!

First Congregational Mugs
IMAGINE: Your very own church mug as the deliverer of your hot morning beverage, the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves waking you to a new day!
It can happen by contacting the office - (314) 962-0475 or [email protected]!
Each mug is $15 (or 2 for $25), and proceeds benefit the Minister's Discretionary Fund - a benevolence for people and programs in need of special support.
Mugs are made of sturdy stoneware and come replete with either

- a photograph of the sign that caught so much attention on the internet and in the St. Louis area, in February 2012; or
- a lovely line drawing of the church, by our own Sybil Gardiner.

Be a
Con-green-gationalist!
This Week's Green Tip:
We all know that compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) help save money and energy because they're 4 times more efficient and last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs. The traditional spiral shape and brightness of CFLs isn't useful for all fixtures, though. Did you know that CFLs now come in an "A-line" form that encases the spiral in shaped glass? Globe, candelabra, and flood light shapes, and even dimmable CFLs, are available at Lowe's, WalMart and on-line at Amazon.com, Lightbulbsdirect.com, 1000bulbs.com, Mylelight.com, and Bulborama.com |
Recycling Additions
Save your glass spaghetti sauce jars (such as Ragu or Prego), and bring them in with your aluminum. We're starting a special project and will need lots!
