Telehealth Services Provided to Out-of-State Patients in
NY, RI, MA and FL
Over the past couple of years, Connecticut physicians have been able to provide telehealth services to patients who are in New York and Rhode Island as a result of special emergency orders declared by the respective governors. Unless renewed, these orders are due to expire in the near future. A similar order never existed in Massachusetts, and Florida adopted a special telehealth provider registration allowing out-of-state physicians to use telehealth on patients who may be in that state.
