2023 NCLEX Report

The Florida Center for Nursing has published the "2023 NCLEX Report." 


This report provides information about Florida’s NCLEX pass rates. Evaluation of NCLEX pass rates is a critical step in overall evaluation of the State’s nursing workforce as newly licensed nurses are often employed to fill vacant nursing positions.


Key findings:

  • Florida produced the greatest number of NCLEX-RN test takers in the nation.
  • Florida’s 2023 NCLEX-RN pass rate was 76.75%, below the national average of 88.56%.
  • Florida’s NCLEX-RN pass rates ranked 52 of 55 jurisdictions.
  • Florida’s 2023 NCLEX-PN pass rate was 74.87%, below the national average of 86.67%. 
  • Florida’s NCLEX-PN pass rates ranked 52 out of 54 jurisdictions.

Emotional Vaccines

The Florida Center for Nursing is excited to pilot a new wellness program for nursing faculty starting in April. Emotional Vaccines is a free and easy-to-use program that promotes self-care. An Update on Shaping the Future: Becoming Nursing Faculty

Our continuing education program Shaping the Future: Becoming Nursing Faculty is designed to help Florida nurses translate their clinical experience and expertise to academia. If you've ever wondered what nursing faculty do and how they have an impact on the future of nursing, this program is for you!


Since launching this program, 369 nurses from across Florida have completed the course resulting in 554 CEUs awarded. This activity is free to all nurses licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is online and asynchronous so you can participate whenever and wherever you want.
