FCS Employee of the Month

Congratulations to our FCS Employee of the Month for February, Penny Major, member of the Food Service team at Alliance Academy for Innovation. Penny is a valuable team player who builds relationships with students and staff while modeling and maintaining a positive attitude every day. Congratulations, Penny!


FCS March Recognitions

The following groups were recognized at the March Regular Meeting: GMEA Administrative Leadership Award - North Forsyth HS Principal Bob Carnaroli, State Champion Cheer Team - North Forsyth HS, AAAA State Champion Wrestler - East Forsyth HS, AAAA State Champion Diver - East Forsyth HS, AAA-AAAA State Champion Esports (Fall '24) - East Forsyth HS, and FCS BOE Members for Board Appreciation Month.


FCS Superior Spotlight

February's Superior Spotlight was Haw Creek Elementary School's Husky Pack Treat Student-Led Business.


FCS Alumni Spotlight

The Board reviewed our March 2025 Alumni Spotlight from West Forsyth High School graduate and Cumming Outback Steakhouse Proprietor, Alexa Antonini.


Presentation and Discussion Items

The Board heard updates from the following departments: Student Services, Transportation, and Chief of Staff (Leadership Development programs).


The Board received a SPLOST accomplishment update.


The Board heard an update on Alliance Academy for Innovation - Athletics Consideration at its March 11th Work Session.


The Board received the monthly Finance Report.
