Nope, I wish it was. The event listings have been updated with new future dates, recurring events have been set to begin in May, or shows have been deleted altogether. Those that have not contacted me are still on the website, so please contact the organizer before attending.
There is a silver lining to all of this; now we have time to clean & polish the car or truck, fix those pesky things that don't work quite right, clean the garage out, and finish those half projects that were started years ago.
I can think of a zillion ways to spend my days at home, however at some point soon I'll reach that withdrawal stage where the car (and me) need to go someplace...anyplace. Maybe a scenic trip to the countryside and back. Maybe stop at a park for a picnic.
Look on the bright side, we live in the land of sunshine and blue skies. Imagine for a moment you lived north of Florida, where the sky is mostly gray and the highs don't get out of the 60's. Not to mention the spring rains.
Count ourselves lucky. We can still enjoy our days with the garage door open.
If you enjoy FCS, please tell your friends, club members, Facebook friends, and anyone else that loves the automotive hobby. Plus don't forget those businesses that could benefit from the advertising exposure. The website survives off of car show and business banners, so please patronize them whenever possible.
One of our local car show photographers has been working on his night shot skills. Getting better with every show. Thanks for your support.
