HELP US WELCOME PASTOR KRISTEN AND HER FAMILY TO OUR CHURCH

Please join us at a welcome reception for Pastor Kristen and her family this Sunday, July 14 during the Sunday School Hour in Wesley Hall.  Rev. Dr. Kristen Burkhart is in her 13th year as a Pastor in the Holston Conference and  has a heart for reaching the least, the last, and the lost. She loves to promote healthy family systems and encourage leaders, while placing a focus on making, growing, and sending forth disciples of Jesus Christ.  When in the pulpit, Pastor Kristen loves to preach the scripture in a practical, life application storytelling manor to relate the love and mission of Jesus Christ.  Kristen is married to Phillip Archer. They have a daughter, Joanna (12), and a son, Abraham (6).

FCUMC's Youth Group is on a Mission Trip to Charleston, SC this  week to help out with local projects, which may include providing meals to the homeless, tutoring struggling children from low-income families, helping lead a day camp for kids, working with disabled children, assisting in a local food kitchen, and volunteering with local non-profit organizations and at a community center. Please keep our Youth Group in your prayers as they give their time to those in need.
