NOTABLE NEEDS
PLACES TO SERVE

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR REOPENING
We are excited about our plans to reopen the church for in-person worship! In order to safely and efficiently reopen, we need teams of volunteers to serve in a variety of ways. We will need approximately 25 volunteers to arrive 45 minutes prior to each service to assist at our three "no touch" entrances. Volunteer positions will include:
  • Assist with parking
  • Provide direction to attendees upon arrival and assist with our entrance protocols
  • Greet and welcome church members
  • Take non-contact temperatures
  • Mark attendance
  • Distribute face masks as needed
  • Lead attendees to their seats
  • Assist in hallways directing foot traffic throughout the church
If you would be willing to volunteer for one of these teams and help us welcome people back into our church building, please  click here to sign up for a specific date. Thank you in advance for your assistance and we look forward to seeing our church family soon.

KNOWING GOD BY NAME SELF-PACED BIBLE STUDY
Your response to the Rachel and Leah study was overwhelming! We learned a lot about ourselves and about the complicated lives of Rachel and Leah.  So, are you ready to go deeper to learn more about our God?  We have a new study entitled KNOWING GOD BY NAME.

In Knowing God by Name: A Personal Encounter, author Mary Kassian focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose.  As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you will be awestruck by the Lord ' s magnificence and your heart will be compelled to worship and praise Him!

The start date for this study will be after July 4 and will be announced soon. You can purchase your book now on  amazon.com or  christianbook.comThis is a 7-week study that you will do on your own schedule, using your time in the way that best suits you.

DISMANTLING RACISM: A SERVICE OF LAMENT, REPENTANCE, COMMUNION AND COMMITMENT

SERVICE OF LAMENT AND HEALING
Holston Conference invites you to view  this webinar service of Lament and Healing from June 20 as we struggle through the injustice of racism and racial inequality.
