Escape Into Fiction Gets New Location
We're excited to see the bookstore Escape Into Fiction move into its new location at 9 East Central St., Franklin, starting in February! Thank you to owner April Rock who gave the FDP a shout-out on social media for helping locate a permanent space for the store! Check out April's video here.
January Museum Events
The Franklin Historical Museum will welcome Dennis J. Sardella, PhD, as its guest speaker on Sun., Jan. 9 for his presentation on Byzantine and Russian icons. Plan on attending this Second Sunday Speaker Series! Doors open at 1 p.m., presentation starts at 1:15 p.m.

On Sun., Jan. 16, the Museum will celebrate Benjamin Franklin's Birthday. Learn about Ben and how Franklin came to be named for him. Come to the Museum to enjoy birthday cake from 1:30 p.m. 3 p.m. in the research room of the museum.

Admission to the Museum is always free. It is ADA compliant with elevator access in the back of the building. Its gift shop is open year round. Read more about the Museum's events here.
Volunteers Needed
The Franklin Food Pantry currently needs volunteers, especially as stockers and flexiteers. Visit the Food Pantry's website to learn more.
