Action Needed: Updated Duty Deferral Letter to President
Since the Trump Administration announced an opportunity to temporarily delay duty payments for 90 days on certain goods, the FDRA-supported Americans for Free Trade Coalition has updated its letter to President Trump.

The new letter thanks the President for implementing the delay and makes two additional recommendations: extend the program by another two months (to cover imports made during May and June) AND expand it to cover all duties and fees, including 301 duties. FDRA is encouraging Member companies to join this key letter. If you signed the previous letter, you will still need to sign on to the new, updated letter. The deadline to sign is 3:00 p.m. EDT Monday, April 27th, and you can add your company to the letter here: Sign the Updated Duty Deferment Letter

To discuss the latest developments on the coronavirus and the economic response, FDRA will hold our next coronavirus call on Tuesday, April 28th at 2:00 p.m. EDT. This call is for FDRA Members only.
