Hi Everyone.

Hope all is well with you all and that you have lovely things to be looking forward to. I still wish it was a little bit warmer, but at least the sun is shining today. I know that I should be doing other things other than writing to you all, but I need to be watchful of my hens today and I can sit here emailing you and doing just that. It is because Mrs Fox has been paying us some visits recently and although I know she needs to feed herself and her young, I would rather it was not with my hens!!!!!! We have lost 5 and just have 3 left and a very large cockeral.

Today I want to feature more fully the work of Nina Archer who will be one of the visiting artist to the Bettws Triangle art and music festival 2026 which is coming to us very soon. Nina will be exhibiting her gorgeous work in Moor Hall Studio from 11th to 14th June over the period of the Festival.

Nina is an abstract painter who works in gesso, acrylic and charcoal, recording the edges of land, the darkness and forested valleys, accents of colour and the textural feel of this unique landscape in South Shropshire.

Viv and Kev from Art Van Go alerted me to this artist when they saw her at a show and what's more she just lives over the hill from me.

This image below is Nina working in her studio.

THE BETTWS ART AND MUSIC FESTIVAL will be taking place on 11/12/13/14 June so I do hope yo will be able to join us, to hear some singing and music and also seeing the art work.

As well as Nina exhibiting at Moor Hall we also have the lovely VAL LITTLEHALES who will be showing her pastel paintings which reflect her love of our landscape: its changing seasons and moods, her love of skies, trees, leafy lanes and of course sheep. Val will be showing her work at Black Mountain Chapel. Val is also one of the performers at Black Mountain during the Festival. Someone not to be missed with the highly amusing tales that she tells.

We are able to boast an amazing line-up of performers once again this year to the Festival, so please take a look at our Festival website, book a ticket or two and come along and support us and see the work on display.
