NEWS FROM MOORHALL
Well the music festival is well in hand with still a few days before it actually happens, so meanwhile I thought I had better alert you to other things that are happening here at Moor Hall. Although maybe first I need to tell you about the wonderful family wedding we have just attended down South. Being away for a few days and spending a relaxing time with family was such a tonic and much needed.........and WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING IT WAS.
Unfortunately, all has not been well with me again and I have spent the passed two weeks in hospital with kidney failure. I am on the mend now thankfully and hope to be home for the festival.
THE BETTWS TRIANGLE

Building on the success of last year’s music and arts festival in the hills at Black Mountain Chapel, Bettws y crwyn, we are holding another festival this year. We have called it the Bettws Triangle, but we promise you will not disappear! This time there are three venues, Black Mountain Chapel, (SY7 8PJ), St Mary’s Church, (LD7 1UD) and Moor Hall Studio, (SY7 8PH) each hosting an array of top musicians and community choirs over three days, all complemented by an exhibition of watercolours by Josie Crompton-Morris at Black Mountain Chapel and my art students work (Moor Art 1 and 2) at Moor Hall Studio.
There will be a fantastic line up of musicians and singing groups including, Lisa Beznosiuk, Richard Tunnicliffe, John Kirkpatrick MBE, Benji Kirkpatrick, Sue Harris, Polly Bolton, BouZaTina, David Reynolds, Sue Arnaboldi, Rapsquillion, Men From Off, John Hymas with the Presteigne Pop Choir, Castle Voices, Castle Carols and Clunsing.
There will be two performances each afternoon at each of the three venues.
Come along to experience the creative life in Bettws-y-crwyn. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the uplifting, stirring and often ‘fun’ music in this glorious countryside, Bring your boots and enjoy a walk along the quiet lanes between the three venues?
