FEATure Autism Awareness
Awareness * Understanding * Acceptance
As many of you know, April is National Autism Awareness Month.  While our families live with Autism Awareness everyday, April is one month out of the year when we go to extraordinary lengths to inform and educate our community about our daily reality.  A recent survey by the CDC announced startling, new numbers that 1 out of 45 children today are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. We cannot be silent, we must stand up and fight for our children for their health today, and for their future tomorrow.

So, if you are not directly affected by Autism, we ask you to stand up for those who cannot. If you are affected, we ask that you stand side by side with others who are on this journey every single day. One person alone cannot make a difference, but together, we can change the world.

Consider this month, how you can support autism awareness, understanding & acceptance. Join FEAT of Louisville in our many efforts to make a difference for the children and their families.
