Volunteer Needed
Art Center Morro Bay Needs You!

Colleen Ray has generously donated her time for over (3) years and would like to hand her baton to the next generous volunteer!

Colleen gathers all of the information from membership forms throughout the year, adding the information collected to a membership database list, using Google docs. It's meticulous work that we rely heavily on for many different reasons.

Colleen is very happy to teach the next person how to upload info to this membership database.

This position is generally considered a Board Position. Board work is not required.

The time commitment for this position fluctuates between a couple of hours a week early in the year when more memberships are being renewed to maybe 45 minutes a week later in the year. There are basically 3 steps: entering info into the database, sending welcome letters (which are updated as exhibits change) and sending new member information to Janet for newletters.

On occasion Colleen finds that she needs to call or email new or renewing members to verify information. Information is all handled through mail or email and the data entry is completed in the comfort and safety of home.

Colleen also collects monthly volunteer hours and adds that into an excel spreadsheet. She finishes each month by adding a new sign in form to the binder on the docent desk.

Total estimated time: 90 minutes per month.

If you enjoy database entry and would like to volunteer from home, please contact Patricia Newton, email, or 805-423-1100
