Thank you for your response to NHBC 2020 Vision. I have heard some wonderful ideas for new ministries targeted at reaching new people for Christ. Keep them coming! Continue to pray with me that God will bless NHBC as we create 20 new ministry initiatives to bring 20 new individuals and families into His kingdom.
Thank you for your continued faithful giving to Envision. In March, we will complete our three-year effort of raising funds for our new construction. The remodeling process has been completed, our ministries are using the new areas to reach people for Christ, and to date, you have given $632,600.50 for this exciting effort to create safe children’s classes, an area for our youth to grow and a welcome foyer that we are only beginning to discover new and exciting uses for God’s glory. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through you!

Stepping Out Testimonies
Many of our membership are “stepping out” into the community. This focus each month will allow you to hear from them, know how you can pray for that outreach and perhaps be inspired to join in as well.

I think the blessing box is a wonderful outreach to the community because so many people benefit from it. Recently, when I was filling the blessing box on Wednesday, I got back into my truck and saw a lady coming across the yard. I thought at first she was taking items from the blessing box but she was actually putting items in it. So she came over to me as I was still sitting there in my pickup and we talked for quite some time about how much she appreciated what we were doing with the blessing box. She lives across the street in the apartments and had used our food items many times when she was not in a position to afford much. So now that things had changed a bit for her, she was trying to repay some of the kindness she had received from us. I of course thanked her for her generosity and invited her to come to church anytime she wanted to. It has also been a blessing to me knowing that I am helping those in need.

WOMEN ON MISSION WORK DAYS
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11 AND 25 @ 9:30
Women on Mission will have two work days during the month of February in keeping with the February theme of “Loving Others.” The first work day is Tuesday, February 11 and the second is Tuesday, February 25. Both begin at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. A coffee/snack/share time at about 10:15 will be under the direction of these hostesses: February 11, Marti Blattert and Becky Mabus and on February 25, Jane Brown and Becky Chittenden. Both of the February meetings will be spent making quilts for Grand Oak Mission. This season of the year there are always requests for quilts and blankets. Also on Work Day, some of our women will be making salvation bracelets. These are used by the several mission teams from Greene County Baptist Association going to Mexico during the summer months on mission outreach. All supplies are provided by Women on Mission. Come, you will be a blessing and be blessed as well.

Jacob and Sarah Franklin, serving as missionaries at Resonate Church in Pullman, WA, have requested help in maintenance on the offices of their church. The New Testament church often went to aid other churches in their ministry, so in keeping with that tradition we would like to help. Plans for this mission endeavor will be

Thank you for the delicious food and lovely potted plant. We have a nice sunny spot for it. It is great having such a caring church family.
Sincerely,
~Nita and the Dale Burrough Family
Dear Friends with National Heights Baptist Church,
As we begin a new decade, once again out staff along with the families and children we serve are grateful that you continue to make them truly feel special. Without the Family Funds Program generated from pop tab recycling, many families would expereince yet one more thing that they must wory about. Please know that we are so thankful for your kind act of caring through this important program. And thanks for the magazines, too!
Sincerely,
~Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks
Thank you for all the time you have given to our Community Project!
~Greene County OACAC
Wishing all of our friends at NHBC a very merry Christmas and wonder-filled new year! Thanks for all you do to support Robberson students and staff. We appreciate you!

*Thanks very much for the food. The Lord is good.
* Today while filling the box, a man and his two daughters came up to me and said, “I just want to say thank you. We’ve been going through a rough time and God has really been blessing through this.”
