Remember when we took turns sharing why we love BYS Yoga? Well, we have another teacher's story to to tell. This week, Levana offers her "why."
It was not the first time I was moving far away from the land where I was born, but this time was different... Pittsburgh was becoming my new permanent home.

As soon as I got to this city, yoga became a must. It was a place to feel connected, to find balance, and to allow myself to feel all the feelings that come along with living away from family and friends.

Yoga has helped me so much -- in fact, it has changed my life -- but it was not until I stepped into BYS that my yoga journey truly started.
From my first time at the studio, somehow I knew that this space -- with its long staircase that takes you to a place of openness and light -- was going to be my new favorite one. What I didn't know was that I was going to find a family.
This family is kindness, care, and love, and I couldn't be more grateful and honored to be a part of it. Here is where I continue to learn and share knowledge with dedicated teachers, students, and friends. Here is where I know there will always be someone to count on!
Today, almost four years since the first time I rolled out my mat at the studio, I could not imagine my life in the 'Burgh without the love and support of this community, my yoga family!
With a grateful heart,
w/ Kristi Rogers
