Our upcoming monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 9, at Norwood Club will be our final big meeting of the year but we have some great programs over the summer presented by our Academic Partners for education and to keep your FEI network alive and well. The April meeting begins with a special presentation by Robert Half at 3:30, 2024 Hiring and Compensation Trends for Finance and Accounting Professionals. Our normal Professional Development session follows at 4:00, The Changing DEI Landscape, and keynote Stacey D. Stewart, CEO, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, headlines with Driving Change – My Journey to Noble Purpose Leadership at the dinner meeting.

 

We will be hosting students from both of the FEI Dallas undergraduate scholarship programs at the April meeting: the Financial Executive Experience mentoring & scholarship program sponsored by Frost Bank; and the FEI Connie Konstans Scholarship recipients from The University of Texas at Dallas.

 

2024-25 Officer Election

FEI Dallas members in good standing have been presented with the 2024-25 Officer Slate by email for voting this week. The candidates are highly accomplished and are willing to contribute a significant amount of their time to lead the board in delivering programs and activities to the chapter. FEI Dallas members, please exercise your right to vote, the election closes on Monday, April 8. FEI Dallas members who did not receive the ballot should contact Jackie Dunn, Chapter Manager.

 

FEI Financial Leadership Summit 2024

The national FEI Financial Leadership Summit is in Orlando at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, May 19-21. FEI members and non-members alike should consider attending, the destination and programs are superior. Discounted Disney tickets are available to Summit registrants who want to add a trip to one of Disney’s four theme parks

FEI Dallas Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups have always delivered great subject matter content for our members involved in a particular industry or area of interest: Manufacturing/Distribution, Private Equity, Technology, Healthcare, Real Estate, Restaurant/Retail, Energy, and the new G.R.O.W. SIG (Growth, Resources and Opportunities for Women). I strongly encourage FEI members to attend these SIG events, and to invite your peers who qualify for FEI membership.

VOTING IS OPEN | Election of FEI Dallas Officers 2024-25

In an effort to keep business announcements at monthly meetings to a reasonable minimum, FEI Dallas conducts officer elections online via Survey Monkey. Voting is open through Monday, April 8, and results will be announced at the April monthly meeting. Voting is anonymous, no individual information is collected or shared.  

 

FEI Dallas members in good standing as of 4/1/24 will be sent an email directing them to the voting site. FEI Dallas members in good standing who did not receive the ballot can contact Jackie Dunn for the voting link.
