“Feud -- Speaker of TX House Dade Phelan vs. TAG Ken Paxton”

Right here at the very end of the Texas Legislature’s session when some of the most time-sensitive legislation is at stake, a feud seems to have developed between Speaker of the Texas House Dade Phelan and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
I do not know which man started the feud nor which one is escalating it, but I do think the timing is highly questionable.
Why would TAG Paxton wish to draw personal attention to himself right at the very time that the lege and the public need to be focused on passing vital legislation?
On the other hand, could it be that Speaker Phelan is trying to get the spotlight off himself because of accusations that he was in a questionably intoxicated condition when he tried to lead the House on 5.19.23.
The Texas Attorney General’s job serves as the lawyer for the state of Texas. The TAG provides legal representation for Texas and also safeguards the freedoms of Texans as guaranteed under the U. S. Constitution and the Texas Constitution.
The job of the Speaker of the House is to officiate over the House proceedings, including counting and declaring all votes, and also deciding on the members for the various committees.
Both the TAG and the Speaker of the House carry heavy responsibilities.

These articles also show that Speaker Phelan is a RINO (left of center) and needs careful oversight by those who want to make sure that conservative values remain in place in Texas.

BREAKING – 5.15.23 – My website is now live with 1,483 public information articles posted -- DonnaGarner.org. Some of the articles are written by me, but many others are written by fact-based authors who produce well-documented articles.
The site has 10 category boxes from which the public can choose their topics and then the articles they want to read. All of the articles have the date, the title, and the author. In most cases, the articles are posted in chronological order by date. All are free for the taking, and the URL for each article can easily be shared by text and/or on social media platforms.
GoDaddy and I have been working on DonnaGarner.org for almost a year and went live on 3.26.23. We have just added the more recent articles in all ten categories. In the future, I will be posting current articles periodically.
