VIVE LE CINEMA FRANCOPHONE

Focus on French Cinema, the annual festival of francophone cinema, presented by the Alliance Française of Greenwich, announces the15th Anniversary
-VIVE LE CINÉMA FRANCOPHONE!

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMING: Joe Meyers

"I can't imagine a better theme for the 15th anniversary Focus on French Cinema festival than"Vive Le Cinéma Francophone"which recognizes the festival's support of French language filmmaking from global cultures in addition to France. FFC2019 will include movies from Belgium, Quebec, Switzerland, Africa, and beyond. Terrific films in French are being made all over the world. While the festival has showcased the best new movies coming out of France, we have always included films from the other Francophone film cultures."
