Getting involved with FH Awareness Week can help break the cycle of family heart disease.

Awareness of familial hypercholesterolemia saves lives. We recently heard from FH Advocate Ray Shipman, that after putting a poster up at work, a colleague wrote "this flyer possibly saved my daughter's life!" Awareness helps give someone a name and, ultimately, a diagnosis for a condition that has haunted a family for generations. It's why the FH Foundation established FH Awareness Day as September 24. We need your help this FH Awareness Week to get the word out.
