Principal's Message                                                           Feb. 14, 2020


I am excited to share with our community that one of our students, Casey Timms, was selected as a National Merit Scholarship finalist! This is an amazing accomplishment for Casey and we are so proud of him. 

The mission of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is to recognize and honor the academically talented students of the United States. NMSC accomplishes its mission by conducting nationwide academic scholarship programs. The enduring goals of NMSC's scholarship programs are:

*To promote a wider and deeper respect for learning in general and for exceptionally talented individuals in particular.

*To shine a spotlight on brilliant students and encourage the pursuit of academic excellence at all levels of education.

 

*To stimulate increased support from individuals and organizations that wish to sponsor scholarships for outstanding scholastic talent.

 

Casey has had an amazing four years at FHHS including winning a state championship for marching band, honored as a Kiwanis Pacesetter, served as our National Honor Society Vice President, while leading our tennis team. Congrats to Casey!

Frank Says...

We are starting a new poster campaign on campus that features our therapy dog, Frank. The idea is to share expectations and positive ideas with our students. Frank has been a great addition to our school and has helped create even more positivity through his interactions with students and staff.
