Home of the Falcons!
"We Engage, Challenge, and Support Every Student, Every Day"
Principal's Message                                                           March 22, 2019

Thursday morning Fountain Hills High School hosted an assembly performed by the Be Kind People Project for our district's K-5 students. The message of the Be Kind People Project is to help students understand the importance of being kind to others and how to handle times when people are not kind to them. I wanted to host this for our elementary students as a way for the high school students to model kindness and help prepare our young Falcons for the future.

As you can see from the picture below, the assembly was full of singing and dancing, while the teachers were thanked for all they do. The energy was amazing and the kids learned some great lessons. Special thanks to Mrs. D and Mr. Carrick for helping facilitate this assembly. Also a special thanks to the teachers, volunteers, bus drivers, and the Be Kind Crew!

Kindness Retreat

On March 5, the FHHS Falcon Leadership Club visited FHMS to engage in the Kindness Retreat with the 4th graders. The day was spent in collaborative activities centered around how to be kind to others. There was dancing, singing, and many group discussions. At the end of the day, both 4th graders and high school Falcon Leaders filled out Kindness Cards and had the opportunity to share them in front of the entire group. This retreat really instilled within every attendee a life-long mindset grounded in kindness.
