Join a special, guided walk at

Herring River Overlook, Wellfleet

Don Palladino Memorial Walk

Saturday, June 22

10:00 am - 12:00 noon

This walk is named, with family members' permission, in honor of Don Palladino (1936-2018) and is co-sponsored by Friends of Herring River and Wellfleet Conservation Trust.

Don was a founding member and President of Friends of Herring River and a Trustee and Treasurer of the Wellfleet Conservation Trust. A charismatic and well-respected community leader, Don is remembered fondly as a key advocate for restoring the Herring River estuary to its natural tidal flow. Don appreciated the natural beauty of Cape Cod and understood the importance of protecting the environment for the enjoyment of everyone.

This is a scenic walk along the Herring River Overlook, within Wellfleet Conservation Trust, to share stories, discuss the Herring River Restoration Project, and enjoy the views.

Notes: Parking in the Herring River Overlook lot is limited,

please park at the Great Island lot, if you are able.
