The FHSAA rankings for Girls Basketball are now available. These are the final rankings of the 2021 season, which include regular season contests and district tournaments. The FHSAA rankings are used to seed the FHSAA Regional tournaments. Details on how teams advance to Regions are below:
1A:
- The two District Champions in each region automatically qualify for the Regional tournament (seeded 1-2 by FHSAA Rankings)
- Teams 3-4 receive at-large bids via FHSAA Rankings
- The higher seed hosts
2A-7A:
- The four District Champions in each region automatically qualify for the Regional tournament (seeded 1-4 by FHSAA Rankings)
- Teams 5-8 receive at-large bids via FHSAA Rankings
- The higher seed hosts
