Missouri Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson stopped by to experience this first-of-its-kind event for the St. Louis area. The successful hands-on learning was a partnership between nine area school districts and the business community – all for the benefit of students interested in learning about the trades.

Prop S Work Continues

Construction at the new Francis Howell North High School is moving along nicely. The Facilities and Operations Department has been working with S.M. Wilson on the panel installation for what will be the auditorium and the storm shelter.

Follow construction progress on Twitter at the hashtag #FrancisHowellFriday. Each week we will highlight the progress made at FHN.
Accessible Playgrounds

Rain and weather delays have impacted the playground project at Independence Elementary. While new playground equipment has been installed and is ready for use, accessible routes are not yet finalized. The District is committed to ensuring playground access for individual students. Additional drainage and grading work must be completed before the paving work can begin. These projects will be completed this summer with the goal of having accessible routes in place for the 2022-23 school year.
