Help Us Find Our Next Chief Financial Officer

The District is looking for its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). After working three decades in education, current CFO Dr. Kim Hawk has announced her retirement at the end of this school year.
 
The CFO serves as part of the Executive Cabinet leadership team and provides strategic vision and direction for the business and data processing functions of the District. The selected candidate will work with the Board of Education and administration to improve fiscal responsibility and accountability, ensuring the District remains good stewards of the resources entrusted to us.

Online Fines and Fees Payment Change
 
Beginning July 2023, families will be able to view student fines and fees within the same Infinite Campus Parent Portal account already used to view student grade cards and reports, attendance and transportation information. For online fines and fee payments, the processing rate is 3.50% of the transaction and a $0.35 transaction fee.

Calling all 2023-24 Kindergarten families! The District continues to register students for Kindergarten. Missouri law states that students must be five years old before the first day of August to enroll in Kindergarten. Learn more.

Olivia Howard, choir director at Francis Howell Middle School, was selected as the 2022-23 District Teacher of the Year for the Francis Howell School District. Click here to watch a video celebrating Ms. Howard.
Crosby Abramczyk, a 5th grader at John Weldon Elementary, was given a ride to school in a squad car with his School Resource Officer Steve Schue. Abramczyk was the winner of the John Weldon PTO "Ride to School With a Police Officer" fundraiser.

Congrats to the Class of 2023. We can't wait to see what your future holds! During their last day of classes, seniors walked the halls of their first school, Castlio Elementary, one last time!
The District hosted its annual Project Lead the Way Senior Showcase at the Administration Building on Tuesday, May 16. One of the students, Peyton Nguyen, said she learned how to plan, set up and conduct a reliable experiment through this Capstone project.

Katelyn Schrum, a teacher at Westwood Trail Academy, has received a grant to help in her classroom. Schrum is one of 11 St. Charles County educators to receive a total of $10,000 in STEM-related classroom materials this year. Read more.

With the end of the school year comes the beginning of an exciting new journey for our District retirees. This year's retirees have acquired a combined 1,736 years of service.
