Teacher Appreciation Week 2025

Help us celebrate all of the incredible teachers in the Francis Howell School District!

To help celebrate your child's teacher or your colleague, complete this Google form! Share a story or example that inspired you to celebrate this teacher. You can send as many notes as you want by submitting a new form for each teacher.

We will make sure your kind words are sent to each teacher individually. Some of these notes may be posted on District social media channels or shared in our staff newsletter.

Donate to the Lunch Heroes Program

Have you ever been unable to concentrate because you were hungry? Did you know there are students in the Francis Howell School District who are not able to purchase lunch while at school?

To address this need, FHSD has created a Lunch Heroes program. The Lunch Heroes program allows donations from community members and District staff to support students when they no longer have funds in their lunch accounts. To provide lunch for a student for a month, the cost is approximately $50.00.

Our goal is to work together with parents to make sure that all students can receive a hot lunch. Individuals who wish to donate to the Lunch Heroes program can do so by visiting the District's web store.

If your child will be graduating or leaving the District, families can also donate the balance to the Lunch Heroes program.

Healthy Minds, Healthy Schools survey

The Healthy Minds, Healthy Schools Family Learning Series is expanding and growing from one in-person Spring event to multiple opportunities for learning (in-person and virtual) throughout the 2025-26 school year. One goal of the events is to share tangible ways to support students in both school and home settings. The District's INSPIRE Team needs your input to ensure they are addressing topics of interest to you. Please take this brief survey to share your feedback.
