Last day to opt-out: New student privacy measures strengthen parental control
In a proactive step to safeguard student information, the FHSD Board of Education revised Policy 2400 and Regulation 2400. Nov. 15 is the last day for parents to update their opt-out preferences.

The District's Alternative Learning Department is sponsoring the 2023 Community Resource Fair on Saturday, Dec. 16.  Attending agencies provide services in assistive technology recreation, mental health, behavior support, transition planning, and more! Learn more.

As the leaves and temperatures begin to fall, the thought of a snow day crosses our minds. This year FHSD has made the decision to integrate Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days into the calendar. Snow days 5, 6, 9, and 10 will be AMI days and students will learn remotely. All classwork and tasks for AMI days have been designed with the assumption that students do not have access to computers or the Internet at home. Learn more by visiting the District's AMI web page.
Candidate filing for the April 2, 2024, election to the Board of Education, opens at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec 5, 2023 and continues until 5 p.m. on Dec 26, 2023.  The terms of current Board members Chad Lange and Janet Stiglich will expire in April 2024.
