GET INVOLVED:
JOIN THE ACADEMIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Francis Howell School District is seeking members for the newly formed Academic Advisory Committee. This more expansive committee will replace the Curriculum Advisory Council (CAC). The purpose of the Academic Advisory Committee is to gather staff and community input/feedback around the collective work of the Academic Department, primarily focused on, but not limited to, curriculum development. Members of the department value various perspectives and are looking for a diverse group of stakeholders who are willing to collaborate, learn, and provide feedback on a monthly basis. Meetings will take place from 4:45-6:45 p.m., typically the 3rd Tuesday of the month.   Interested staff, students, and community members should complete an application prior to September 20th. Selected participants will be notified by October 1st via email.

Please notify your school's attendance office if your child is going to be absent. Parents will receive an automated phone call about unreported absences.
Please supervise children at bus stops to ensure everyone's safety. Parents, remind your children to pay attention when crossing the street. Cell phones - especially with earbuds in - can be a distraction when crossing streets and walking through parking lots.
