FIDF OHIO CHAPTER OFFERS EXCLUSIVE GUY’S MISSION TO CELEBRATE ISRAEL’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY

Cleveland, Ohio (August 3, 2023) - On the heels of the unfathomable horror that was the Holocaust came the birth of the State of Israel in May 1948 -- a beacon of light for Jews everywhere, providing hope after perhaps the darkest time in our world’s history. Seventy-five years later, we will never forget those lost and continue to celebrate the incredible miracle that is Israel.

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the State of Israel, the Ohio chapter of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) is excited to announce a special “Guy’s Mission” to Israel from October 26th to November 2nd, offering an exclusive chance to explore the Jewish Homeland and connect with the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

With a decade of successful Guys Missions to Israel providing access to places and events normally off-limits to the public, the FIDF Ohio Chapter is set to embark on its most extraordinary mission yet. Those who have never been to Israel, or haven't visited in many years, will have the opportunity to delve deep into the workings of the IDF and experience the country's history, society, and culture in a unique and enriching way as they honor its 75th anniversary. Participants will gain insights into the challenges faced by IDF soldiers, their dedication, and the crucial role they play in safeguarding Israel's security and future. Joining the mission is a great way to show support to these courageous leaders of the Jewish Homeland.
