Let’s take a look at Qatar and its city skyline of the Qatari capital, Doha.

Qatar wants to become one of the world's leading destinations in the coming years. To achieve this, in addition to huge investments, the country is adding world-class events, such as the soccer World Cup 2022, the first in the Middle East.

To accommodate travelers in the best possible conditions the small country expects to have more than 105 new hotels and serviced apartments. By the time the event kicks off, two new luxury hotels are expected to be built, such as the Pullman Doha West Bay and the JW Marriott West Bay.

MetLife Stadium 2026 FIFA World Cup

The biggest sporting event in the world will come to New Jersey. FIFA confirmed Thursday that MetLife Stadium will serve as a venue for the 2026 World Cup, which the United States, Canada and Mexico will jointly host.

When announcements of host venues began Thursday evening, Gov. Phil Murphy announced that FIFA accepted the New York/New Jersey bid to host matches. FIFA made it official minutes later.

"We are honored to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup with our neighbors across the Hudson, and we are fully prepared to deliver the world-class experience that the beautiful game deserves," Murphy said.

MetLife Stadium opened in 2010 as a replacement for Giants Stadium, and both the New York Jets and New York Giants play home games at the venue, which has a seating capacity of about 87,000. Met Life Stadium also hosted the 2014 Super Bowl.
