Orange County Development Services has received a NACo Achievement Award for its highly successful and unique Civic Education and Public Information program. Orange County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will recognize this achievement at the July 9, 2024 meeting.
About the program:
Developed under the Mayor Demings Customer-First Development Services initiative, the Vertical Permitting and Inspections Informational Presentation and Q&A Session program consists of quarterly webinars that provide education to residents and customers about changes to code or requirements, training for the submission and inspections process, and offer an open forum for general questions and answers.
More than 40 representatives from every Vertical Permitting and Inspections division are present to answer customer submitted questions. The next session of this Award Winning program, will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 2:30 p.m and will provide information about Orange Code and Vision 2050.
