Shooters...
It is hard to believe we just completed the first Frozen Five shoot, but I guess if they all have weather like that I won’t complain. Little chilly early, but it felt great around noon. We saw a lot of smiles and we heard lots of compliments on how fun the targets were.
As always, both courses will be open this Wednesday from 10am - 4pm and next Sunday from 10am - 2 pm. Our plan is to keep weekly sporting clays open until Frozen Five #2, weather permitting.
RESULTS
The Main event, Frozen Five #1, was shooter friendly - technical, but not a lot of distance. We had a tie between Michael Keene and Ethan Hess, both with 94. Mike won by tiebreaker...congratulations to both! Frozen Five #1.5 was even more friendly than the Main. Once again, we had a tie...this time between Michael Keene and Jeff Krul, both with 96. It was great to see Jeff up at the top, but Michael must have had his rabbit's foot with him, because he won again. Congratulations to both!
THANK YOU
We want to thank Greg and Sharon Berry for all the great food this year. Unfortunately, it will be too cold to serve outside so we won't see them back until spring (everyone shooting with us, going forward, will need to bring their own lunch until springtime). We want to thank Jim, Tom, Bill, Peyton, Bernie, Steve and Pam for filling and stocking all the traps.
Well that is it, what a great start to our winter, Frozen Five Series. Don't forget to come out and try the targets again on Wednesday and Sunday, and see if you can't figure out some of the ones you missed.
Until next time...see you on the range!
