Shooters...
Another awesome weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game. Perfect spring time weather, no rain...and some really challenging targets.
OPEN FOR THE SEASON
Great news, the sporting clays course is open for the season! Both courses will be open to try again this Wednesday from 10am - 3pm and again next Sunday from 10am - 2pm. Come figure out why you missed. Also, we have plenty of ammo if you need it.
RESULTS
The Prelim was the easier of the two courses, but was still a couple notches higher in difficulty than anything we saw this winter. Earle Glidden won with a 96. Dan Linker took runner up with a 94...congratulations to both. The Main event went up another notch in difficulty, to give us our first taste of true tournament targets for the year. Targets got a little longer and more technical. We had a tie between Kevin Kennedy and John Carbone both with 92. Kevin won by tie breaker. Congratulations, great shooting to both!
THANK YOU
Thanks to Lisa and Bill for registration and scoring. Thanks to Jim, Tom, Chuck, Bill, Ron, and Neal for filling, stocking, and running the shoot so well. These guys volunteer their time so we can all have fun.
Well, that is a wrap on Trap-a-palooza! Next up is the Easter Extravaganza with multiple days of shooting.
