This past academic year has been a groundbreaking period for the Research2030 Society & Culture (S&C) vertical, as we strive to expand our understanding of the human experience through the non-STEM disciplines. Focusing on the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS) has led to several exciting developments that highlight our commitment to advancing research, scholarship, and collaboration.

The UHP Discover Digital Futures Program

This summer, University Honors Program (UHP) students will collaborate with Digital Futures labs on innovative research projects. This unique partnership provides hands-on experience and professional development in both non-STEMM and STEMM disciplines.

The Internal Funding Program

During Fiscal Year 2022-23, The Office of Research awarded over $1 million in internal funds. This money was used as seed funding for numerous research projects, seeking to assist students and faculty in expanding their projects and finding external funding grants and other opportunities.

In Case You Missed It
Research + Innovation Week 2024 (R+I Week) was a resounding success! On April 30th and May 1st, we hosted two ground-breaking Flashpoint Panel discussions at the Queen City Club. These panels highlighted the innovative work being done at Digital Futures, with a particular focus on our partnership with Adopt A Class and the development of responsible and ethical artificial intelligence.
