Does your business have a written Fire Safety Plan that meets Provincial guidelines? Did you know that OHS Officers often cite businesses for inadequate Fire Safety Plans?

Fire Safety Plans are more than a muster point and need to address:

· Emergency notification and evacuation procedures

· Itemization of flammable substances in the workplace

· Designated duties, responsibilities and training requirements

· Criteria for holding annual fire drills

· Prevention and controls of fire hazards

Watch this week’s safety share on Fire Safety planning for more information: Fire Safety Plan Short Video

If you require any assistance or templates for Fire Safety planning please contact us for more information info@motorsafety.ca

Next week on August 11th we will be hosting a free live virtual workshop on Safety Fundamental training for business Owners, Managers and Supervisors.

OHS officers often cite members for not having this training and our program is a recognized training course that provides critical information on understanding your safety roles and legislated responsibilities.

If you have completed this training course in the past, it is a good idea to complete this training again to stay up to date with current legislation. To learn more or register click here: Live Virtual Course Registration

MSA has set dates for live virtual training opportunities this Fall:

Sept. 1st Root Cause Analysis Webinar

Sept. 8th OHC Level I Committee Training

Sept 22nd OHC Level II Committee Training

Refer to our training calendar for more information: Live Virtual Training Calendar
