Volume 02| August 10, 2019
We really did rock the first week of school!

We can't apologize for the hot weather but we hope your Titan's week went well.

We had some growing pains, traffic jams, lunch lines, and missing desks, but for what its worth it was the first week of school and procedures will flow much more smoothly as we enter next week.

Please be assured that your PTO has worked tirelessly with our hard working Admin team to answer your emails and voice your concerns. You have been heard and solutions are being implemented.

Let us go forward and focus on building a positive and productive year for our teenagers!

Health Information
From our Nurses
Please REMIND your teenager to have water and a small snack in their backpack! Granola bars, nuts, goldfish, protein bars, etc etc. We are seeing students in our office that are dehydrated and hungry! Lunch does not begin until nearly noon and many leave home at 7am. They are hungry!

S USD Nurses are not allowed to give out over the counter medications like tylenol and ibuprofen, cough drops, tums without your signed permission and YOUR supply of these meds.
If your teen wishes to have these meds on campus they must be stored in health office. Please bring in medication and we will have you sign the form.
Please do not send your child to school with diarrhea or vomiting. It usually does not improve when they get to school. 😉

Students can email their teachers and or a classmate for assignments and or notes.

Thanks to Student Council as well as Arcadia Spiritline members for entertaining our new members of the Titan Community!

We ask that you as parents of freshmen get involved where you can and encourage your student to join the many athletic teams and clubs on campus! The more involved they and YOU are the more engaged and successful they will be!
