🌟 Read Across America 🌟
The Student Advisory Council Annual Community Service Project on March 3rd was a huge success! In celebration of Read Across America, ASB students and Activity Directors from all of our schools visited their feeder elementary schools to share the joy of reading with young students. It was truly inspiring to see our high school leaders step into classrooms, read to students, and show what it means to be positive role models in our community.
A huge thank you to all of our school ASBs who took part in this special day — your care, kindness, and leadership made a lasting impact on so many young readers. 📚💙

Exciting News: FJUHSD Launches Digital Workflow Automation with Informed K12!
We’re thrilled to announce a major step forward in how FJUHSD manages Human Resources paperwork! Our district is transitioning to Informed K12, a powerful platform that supports workflow automation and digital forms—making our processes more efficient, accurate, and user-friendly for all staff members.
We’re currently in the testing phase, beginning with three key HR forms: Resignation/Retirement, Certificated Transfer Request, and Reduced Assignment/Unpaid Leave of Absence forms.
These forms are now being piloted, and we’re actively collecting feedback. The goal? To expand the platform with even more digital forms in the near future!
Why this matters:
Informed K12 allows us to:
✔ Digitally manage forms and paperwork

Sunny Hills High School’s Garden Project Cultivates Community and Growth
A once-unused space at Sunny Hills High School—formerly home to portable classrooms—is being reimagined into a vibrant Garden Project, thanks in part to a generous grant from the California Teachers Association (CTA). With the area now graded and refreshed with new irrigation systems, pathways, and gravel for improved drainage, the transformation is well underway. Next up: raised planter beds and additional irrigation lines, paving the way for students to dig in and help the garden flourish. This hands-on project not only nurtures growth in the soil but also strengthens the connection between the school and its surrounding community.
Special thanks to the CTA and Andrea Sandoval, Adult Transition Program teacher, for helping bring this meaningful project to life and for truly embodying the spirit of Uniting Communities!
