Human Resources

HR Welcomes Familiar & New Faces!

Human Resources is thrilled to welcome Sandra McCoy and Linda Harter to the FJUHSD HR Team—even if just for a while! Linda Harter, who previously retired after serving as the Executive Assistant in the Superintendent's Office, is back to lend her expertise. We’re excited to have her return and bring her invaluable experience to the team! Joining us in a consultant role is Sandra McCoy, a seasoned HR professional with an impressive track record. Sandra recently retired as Manager of Human Resources from Santa Ana Unified School District, and we are already benefiting from her wealth of knowledge. She is assisting while the District fills the HR Administrative Secretary position and determines the best approach for the Manager of Human Resources role. We’re grateful to have both Sandra and Linda supporting the HR team—welcome aboard! 🎉

🌟 Happy National School Counseling Week ! 🌟

Facilities and Construction

On November 5, 2024, local voters approved Measure L, authorizing $284 million in bond sales for capital improvements Districtwide! Prior to the approval of this measure, the District developed a new Facilities Master Plan (FMP) with input from the community, school sites, District staff, and architects. By engaging minds from these areas, the FMP identified and prioritized our campus needs, providing a roadmap that became the foundation for Measure L. Please click on the link above to learn more.

Safety and Risk Management

School safety is a top priority for the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, and we strive to create an environment where students can perform at their best and feel safe. Our safety vision is built around five pillars: Safety Plans, Partners, Resources, Communication, and Safety Drills, which together foster a culture of safety across the District. This spring, we will conduct two Districtwide drills: a Shelter in Place drill in February, which involves responding to a threat near a school campus, and a District-wide Disaster drill in March, aimed at ensuring readiness in the event of an emergency. More information will be coming out from your school sites, including notice to parents/guardians, before the drills happen. Working with our school communities and focusing on student safety allows us to be prepared should a disaster strike.

Education/Assessment Services

Supporting Your Child's Success!

We are excited to announce that the Education and Assessment Services team will be presenting a special session titled:

"Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Through the IEP Lens" on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

This session will focus on understanding how ERMHS can play a critical role in supporting students’ mental health needs and how these services are integrated within the Individualized Education Program (IEP). This presentation will provide valuable insights to help support the emotional well-being and academic success of your child.

We look forward to seeing you there!
