Troy High School New Classroom Building Project
The new Troy High School classroom building project continues to progress. The underground utility lines below the slab have been placed and the building footings have been completed. Teams have installed the rock and moisture barrier components and are preparing to pour the slab during the winter break. Currently, the construction team is preparing to install a main fire water line and will then move into the framing portion of the new 8-classroom building.
Sunny Hills High School New Agriculture Classroom Project
We have started the new Sunny Hills High School agriculture classroom project. Temporary facilities have been established including a fence, construction trailer, and construction storage. Surveys have been completed of the existing underground utilities, water, gas, communication lines, electrical systems, and sewer connections. The saw-cutting of the existing asphalt around the new building perimeter, fire lane, and the designated area for the new bus drop-off has been completed. Landscape demolition activities involving the cutting and capping of the landscape irrigation systems have been completed which lays the groundwork for the upcoming site grading and site demolition process.
Excellence Among Us
The Fullerton Joint Union High School District is fortunate to be served by many outstanding classified, certificated, supervisory, confidential, management, and administrative staff members. Each month, Human Resources has the honor of showcasing a staff member or members who contribute to the support, development, and success of our students and who help to make this District exceptional.

This month, Human Resources is proud to recognize District Community Liaison Stephany Grigorov.

Every student of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District is equally important and valued; however, not all students equally experience the same opportunities and resources outside of school. Fortunately, Stephany Grigorov is here to provide support and resources to our most vulnerable students and their families. As Community Liaison, she fosters robust partnerships with local partners, such as The Assistance League of Fullerton, Fullerton Loves OC Kids (FLOCK), Giving Children Hope, and The National Giving Alliance. Working with these and other community partners, she is able to secure much needed resources (essential school supplies, groceries, hygiene products, and more) that allow these students and their families the ability to focus on learning and academic success. Most importantly, her work also connects families in need with local organizations that provide housing stability and mental health and wellness services. By caring for their most essential needs, Stephany affords these students and families the opportunity to succeed academically.

Thank you Stephany! Your exceptional service to our students, parents, and community truly represents the excellence among us and ensures that
FJUHSD is the place to be!

Suicide Prevention Lifeline

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States.

When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
