These students represent the best of what our District strives to support and inspire. We also celebrated our Employees of the Year, outstanding individuals whose dedication, hard work, and positive impact continue to shape our schools and support student success across the District. In addition, we were pleased to introduce Julie Gonzalez as our new Director of Human Resources. We look forward to the leadership and experience she brings to this important role. We also took a moment to say goodbye and thank you to our 2024–2025 Student Board Member, Noelle Lidyoff and SAC Vice Chair Oscar Deniz. Their voice, perspective, and leadership have made a lasting impact, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Uniting Communities,
Engaging Minds, Building Futures:
Cultivating Growth at
Sunny Hills High School
In a previous update, we announced the removal of the portable building from the agriculture farm at Sunny Hills High School. Since then, the space has been completely reimagined, and the transformation is nothing short of inspiring! A brand-new garden has taken root and was spotlighted in the April newsletter during its early stages. Now, with vibrant planters, a fully installed irrigation, and raised beds bursting with potential, the first round of planting is officially complete. This once-empty space is blossoming into a dynamic, hands-on learning environment—a lively, collaborative hub where students, staff, and community members come together to grow, connect, and thrive!

By engaging minds, we’ve inspired curiosity, growth, and perseverance. And now, we proudly watch our graduates take the next step in building their futures.
Thank you to the families, educators, staff, and community members who helped make this moment possible. The journey continues, and the future is bright.
